- Comments:
- No DAB links, no dead links
- Files look OK in terms of licensing.
- Reference 18 appears to have some error in it.
- Hammerfest experiences a considerable leakage to Alta Airport for flights to Oslo. I don't follow you here (what is "a considerable leakage")?
- Rephrased and made more explicit. Arsenikk (talk) 13:58, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
- Hammerfest was from 1935 served by scheduled seaplanes at a water aerodrome at Rypefjord. how about Hammerfest was served from 1935 by...
- Sounds better. Arsenikk (talk) 13:58, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
- A Dash 8 was written off after a hard landing in 2005. what do you mean "written off"? Removed from the fleet?
- Changed to "damaged beyond repair". Arsenikk (talk) 13:58, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
Facilities
- Can you link terminal?
- Linked. Arsenikk (talk) 13:58, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
- It includes a separate area for helicopter traffic, but this is not in use. In the lead you say The airport is the base for offshore helicopter services operated by Bristow Norway and CHC Helikopter Service. If the airport is the base, why is it not in use? In the history section you have that a company took the helicopter service over, but the article doesn't explain why there is not service.
- I've reformulated this rather confusing fact to make it clear. Arsenikk (talk) 13:58, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
I will finish my review when these comments are responded to. Thanks, Albacore (talk) 22:40, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you and sorry for the late reply (I was out on an excursion without Internet this weekend). Arsenikk (talk) 13:58, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
Comments
- I am busy with work in real life, I will review all sections but "History"
Airlines and destinations
- One of the Super Pumas is used for search and rescue operations for the petroleum industry and when the Royal Norwegian Air Force's Westland Sea Kings are not available at Station Group Banak. What do you mean "when the Royal Norwegian Air Force's Westland Sea Kings are not available"? What are they used for when the RNAFWSK aircraft are not available?
- I have explained why the Sea Kings can be unavailable. Arsenikk (talk) 07:23, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
- The airport experiences a leakage... can you reword "leakage" again?
- Rephrased. Arsenikk (talk) 07:23, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
- What references the table?
- In part the text, in part I have added a ref from the official website. There seems to be consensus at WP:Airlines to not need referencing the destination titles, although I'm sure adding refs is better than not. Arsenikk (talk) 07:23, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
Accidents and incidents
- The resulting increased descent rate was attempted counteracted by the pilot by increasing to full power. How about The pilot attempted to counteract the increased descent rate by increasing to full power. Also, can you clarify what "full power" is? Some ambiguity here.
- Changed to "full throttle", which is perhaps a more accurate term, although the sources uses the term "advancing to full power". Arsenikk (talk) 07:23, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
Future
- as an reclaimed land as a reclaimed land
- Removed "a" altogether. Arsenikk (talk) 07:23, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
- Can you link "fjord"?
- Linked. Arsenikk (talk) 07:23, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
- Neither lengths would allow flights to Oslo. Why not? Albacore (talk) 01:37, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
- Explained. Arsenikk (talk) 07:23, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
History
- ... as one of several stop should be plural "stops"
- Can you link and explain NOK?
- Hammerfest was the second airport to receive SCAT-I, a Global Positioning System-based landing system, when was installed in 2007. when it was installed in 2007, and can you provide any more information about this?
- Fixed and added an additional sentence. Arsenikk (talk) 21:57, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
I will pass when these comments are responded to. Albacore (talk) 15:46, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
