[edit]I made a couple of cosmetic changes.
I replaced released with repatriated. Released implies the detainee is set free, and this guy would have gone straight from US custody to Spanish custody.
I also wikified the remaining unwikified dates. I refreshed my memory on why using standard wikified dates are a good idea. In theory at least using wikified dates allows the user to see all their dates rendered in their preferred format.
So, minor cosmetic edits that do not detract from the previous user's edit being an improvement. -- Geo Swan 19:22, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
Added in some details as per recently released cables on Wikileaks , the USG detailed the Court Findings and the reasons for the overturning of the sentence and guilty verdict. Cable was sent in 2006 , but released on 30/11/2010. Not so clued up on formats - so anyone who wants to fix the dates etc - please go ahead. The reference is already saved as an external link on the page - but I am not sure how to make it a proper reference - so help on that would be great - Tx Stephanie
