[edit]Please expand this article. It is pointless to nominate it for deletion (again). The halloween articles must be expanded, not down-edited to be meaningless, then deleted. Policies must be read by applying WP:NPOV. Editors are not a anti-commerce police. Halloween is an absolute minor, saisonal business. The argumentation/crystalballing about linkspam is very questionable. User:Yy-bo 16:00, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- Recreating the article yourself after you've requested it to be speedily deleted seems inappropriate, but I've had a go at copyediting this anyway, to see if the subject is salvageable. I've removed a lot of the repetition, the over-literal over-explanation ("Though they are frowned on by a majority of people, a halloween yard is never place for any religious ritual, never the place for any real burial."?) and the inappropriate and arbitrary focus on individual products rather than basic facts about where and why Halloween yards exist.
- It doesn't leave much, though, to be honest. I think it'd be more useful to combine this (and Spooky walk) with Haunted House - there's no point going into detail about skeletons and gravestones and things when they're common to all Halloween attractions. --McGeddon 16:18, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- I have merged it into Halloween traditions. It is unclear hhy the Afd nominator missed to suggest it, see deletion nomination of Spooky walk, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Spooky walk, very questionable deletion nomination. Actually i consider it a waste time to riddle about the statements. User:Yy-bo 17:54, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
