Soccer half times

[edit]

"or for sports that don't stop, like soccer."

I didn't want to go straight ahead with editing this as I don't know if soccer half times work differently in America, but in the 15 minute breaks between halves there is time for singing performances, lottery draws and cheerleading among other things. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.156.194.122 (talk) 18:44, 4 February 2006‎

You are right. Although there is not always halftime entertainment or it is sometimes not as important in association football, a 15 minute break between two 45 minute halves is enough of a "stop" for that quote to be considered nonsense. Therefore i am deleting it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Benson85 (talk) 12:42, 12 February 2006‎

Highlight?

[edit]

Is it really true that the halftime show is now considered more important than the actual football game itself?
