Comments

[edit]
  • One dab link
  • "the tenth episode The Simpsons' thirteenth season." missing word
  • "was pitched by seres' co-creator and executive producer" typo
  • "tensions among The Simpsons' staff" apostrophe not needed
  • "some of who conidered it" typo
  • Make sure first mentions of Lenny and Springfield are wikilinked
  • "All cacti resemble Marge to Homer, and Lenny mournfully points out Mount Carlmore that he carved one blissful summer." Not sure I understand the second part of this sentence. Lenny carved Mount Carlmore?
  • "Meanwhile, Marge leaves Artie furiously, only to discover what Homer had done when she gets home and finds he is not there and that he had left a tape behind." You can probably delete the second part of this sentence (bolded). Or reword (verging on run-on sentence currently)
  • "and anti-Homer subliminal messages (though Artie seems to reveal himself soon after the messages start and wakes up Marge)." Don't quite understand this sentence either. How does Artie reveal himself?
  • Indicate Tim Long is a consulting producer
  • " This revalation garnered scrutiny" typo
  • Make sure sentences with direct quotes end with citations
  • ""Half-Decent Proposal" features the return of Artie Ziff, and the first time since the season 2 episode "The Way We Was" that the character was portrayed by American comedian Jon Lovitz." awkward phrasing
  • "On August 24, 2010, the episode was released part of The Simpsons: The Complete Thirteenth Season DVD and Blu-ray set. Al Jean, Ian Maxtone-Graham, Matt Selman, Tim Long, Dan Castellaneta, Lauren MacMullan, Matt Warburton and James Lipton participated in the audio commentary of the episode." Needs citation (just use audio commentary citations here too)
  • "manages to be worse that that dire movie [Indecent Proposal]." typo on your part, or author's? (maybe add [sic]?)
  • "calling the it "late to the party." missing word
  • "The Simpsons makes an Indecent Proposal themed episode" make sure The Simpsons and Indecent Proposal are italicized
  • Format publishers considently (use IGN for instance, not tv.ign.com)

The article is well-researched and interesting, but has a lot of grammar mistakes. They're mostly all easy fixes, so I'll place the review on hold for seven days while they are addressed. Thanks, Ruby2010 comment! 16:18, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I think I've addressed all concerns but if there's anything more, let me know. Thanks again! Queenieacoustic (talk) 17:12, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
