Are there any common characteristics of a Hajj Passport? The description is a little sparse. --Paul E. Ester 14:15, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What is a Hajj passport? What is the difference between a Hajj passport and a normal one? Does it only allow you to travel to the Hajj and back, or what?

Who issues it? There is definately no such thing as a Hajj passport issued by the United Kingdom Identity and Passport Service (http://www.passport.gov.uk/). If it is not issued by a government, then who recognises it? TiffaF 06:55, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Other than sites which repeat info found on Wikipedia, most sites refer to a normal passport with a special Hajj visa. This combination could be called a "Hajj passport" but only in a generic sense, because the next week it could add a visa for a different trip. Only one Pakistani newspaper appeared to actually refer to a specific Hajj passport. I know nothing whatsoever about this other than the results of the Google search in the course of trying to find references relative to the AfD. So this in no way proves there are no countries issuing special "Hajj only " passports. Edison 18:16, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
