Below is my review. I would be more than happy to look at this again as soon as the issues have been addressed. There is enough information out there to get this to GA with some work but i do not seeing it being done within a realistic time-frame for candidacy. It looks like a great organization so please don't hesitate to ping me.

1. Well-written:

a. The prose is clear and concise, it respects copyright laws, and the spelling and grammar are correct. (no action needed)
b. The lead section is not a detailed overview of all aspects of the article.
The dates are not consistent.
I'm not sure if those are needed redlinks.

2. Verifiable with no original research:

a. The date formatting in the references is different than the prose and the infobox.
b. Primary sources are overused. This is a primary reason for failing this article. It comes across as an advertisement or a fan piece. There are secondary sources listed in the External links section but those should be used as inline citations.

c. It contains no original research. (no action needed)

3. Broad in its coverage::

a. The article needs more detail of the subject overall
b. Summary style is met but almost too much (see above)

4: Neutral: As mentioned above, it almost reads as a promotion.

5.It does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute. (no action needed)

6: Illustrated, if possible, by images:

a. A fair use rationale is provided for the logo. I'm slightly concerned about the "n/a"s, though. It also seems too big.
b. I appreciate that there is a second image. However, it doesn't fit in the article due to the limited prose and I am not understanding what is going on even with the caption.

Some info that could be added:

  • Detailed descriptions of past hackathons
  • More detail on the chapters
  • Details on the founders, board, or attendees
