current wording makes it sound like americans/westerners like the taste, but every last one i knew who had bought a bottle bought it for shock/gag value. those who actually TRIED it, did so only once or twice.

i didn't think it tasted BAD, but it wasn't like i or anyone else was shopping for it on a regular basis. 66.105.218.32 (talk) 09:34, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Biological Nonsense

" Alternatively, the snake may be put on ice until it passes out, at which point it is gutted, bled and sewn up. When the viper is thawed and awakens, it will quickly die in an aggressive striking manner, "

No... just... no, that's not how living organisms work, especially snakes. Can we get a proper fact-check on basically this entire article? The only source for this is a random article from over fifteen years ago. 2605:4A80:A102:AF50:0:0:0:7377 (talk) 13:55, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's also worth noting that the cited source doesn't even appear to make this particular claim, or indeed any claims about such a method. Maondoza (talk) 13:52, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
