There is no evidence that Habetrot is a Celtic goddess that I know of. I can't find any reference to Habetrot at all earlier than Edain McCoy's notoriously unreliable Celtic Myth and Magic, and a large number of websites quoting her.

This should either be deleted like the other pseudo-Celtic gods (Caerwiden, Dwyn), or a note given that while she's called a Celtic goddess, there's no actual evidence. MaryJones 18:01, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is indeed no evidence she is a Celtic goddess. She is outside the area that generally retains Celtic mythological being in an Anglic part of Scotland. She should be removed from the Celtic Mythology stubs which I shall do. Wikipedia is quite ridiculous when it comes to the Celts and tries to claim everything is Celtic in origin when it is not always the case.
