I read the preprint Stability of the directly imaged multiplanet system HR 8799: resonance and masses and says that the planet is eccentric with e>0.04, but probably that should be e>0.4, because e=0.04 is not eccentric while e=0.4 is. So I've added eccentricity of HR 8799 d as 0.4 to this article as I created it and HR 8799, but the anonymous user 76.106.45.93 change it to 0.04 in the infobox of this article and HR 8799 in planetary system section. - When the paper you cite says 0.04, it means 0.04. 0.4 is not correct. Spacepotato (talk) 08:32, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
e is also known (but not directly imaged and discovered later). The lead should no longer say that d is the innermost. -- J. Wong (talk) 20:14, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
