Bibliography
[edit]Is everything listed in the bibliography used in the text? I trimmed these as they do not appear to be used.[1] Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 17:16, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
- We should not be using primary sources such as these. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 20:33, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- Yes they are used and deleting them created a whole lot of citations not pointing anywhere so I restored them. We should discuss the question of primary sources more generally. Perhaps at project level? --Michael Goodyear (talk) 16:30, 4 December 2017 (UTC)
- They should be replaced by high quality secondary sources. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 16:32, 4 December 2017 (UTC)

- Those were already in place - the primary sources were supplementary --Michael Goodyear ✐ ✉ 01:42, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

Merge with article on oral cancer
[edit]HPV+ oral cancers are a subset of all oral cancers. Much of this information applies to HPV- oral cancers. Initial tumor symptoms and signs and treatment are almost if not always identical for example. These articles should be merged 104.128.161.34 (talk) 05:43, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
- The article is large and it will not be easy. Ruslik_Zero 20:45, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
