Heritage Minister Peter Garrett promising half a million for restauration

Could someone with more time on their hands include this good news as soon as it's confirmed by someone important. Cheers, Zemlod —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zemlod (talkcontribs) 07:11, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Delivery voyage

[edit]

Parkes says that her ends were built up to the level of the breastwork for the delivery voyage and then they were removed once she was at Melbourne. Any confirmation from Australian sources?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 17:04, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing I have immediate access to, but Bastock's Australia's Ships of War looked to have a fair whack on the delivery voyage, which I'll add after my next visit to that particular library. -- saberwyn 21:12, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Good. And don't be shy about asking if I've got anything on any Australian ships, although my collection is a bit skimpier now that we're done with the big ships. Just got Raven and Roberts's volume on British Cruisers of WW2 so I've got plenty of technical info on the Australian cruisers of WW2 available whenever you're ready to do them. Besides, I'll need co-noms for the WikiCup before October.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 22:49, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
