Splitting HMS Vampire from HMAS Vampire
[edit]This page started life as HMS Vampire and then got merged with the corresponding page for HMAS Vampire. I don't see the rationale for this, since HMS Vampire is not the same name as HMAS Vampire. If the Swedish or the Saudi Navy had a Vampire, then it would reasonably appear in this article, since it would actually be called HMS Vampire. The Australian and British navies have also been separate since before any Vampires existed. At least three ships of Royal Navies of the United Kingdom and Australia have been named HMS Vampire or HMAS Vampire seemed to me to be begging to be split into two articles, which I have done.
