Launch date
[edit]It appears that she was was launched in late June or early July. Jackson's Oxford Journal of 7 July 1804 states "The Swiftsure, of 74 guns, which has for some time been building at Bucklershard, near Portsmouth, was last week launched, and is to be prepared withouth delay at Portsmouth."
