[edit]Some information temporarily moved here about the shore base - ' The base trained the crews of various inshore patrol craft, mainly Motor Launches. It is estimated that 55,000 personnel of various nationalities attended courses there. The administration and accommodation was in Fort William and there were workshops and other buildings in Corpach, some of which survive. There was also an Admiralty Floating Dock at Corpach for some of the time.' Benea (talk) 19:54, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
And a bit more - The current Training Ship St Christopher is the name of the Fort William Sea Cadet unit. Benea (talk) 19:55, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
