Requested move
[edit]The discussion for this move will take place on Category talk:Bogue class aircraft carriers because it affects many Bogue-class aircraft carriers which were transferred to the Royal Navy upon completion and never saw USN service. TomTheHand 18:36, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Commissioned
[edit]In a list of movements of the Speaker it says she was commissioned on 5 February 1944 at Vancouver before she sailed to Esquimalt on the 23 February. The article gives an early commissiong date as 20 November 1943 which appears to be the legal hand-over from the US to the UK which appears not to be when she was formally commissioned.
