I thought I should do this together with Seadog. I have a few comments:
- my comment about uboat.net applies here too
- say in the lead how many patrols she did
- make the same changes to the Design and description section as suggested at Seadog's GAN
- why was there such a delay between her being laid and down and launched?
- TBH, I really don't know. I could try to dig more for info if you feel it is important.
- for anti-submarine patrol link anti-submarine warfare
- say where Port HHZ was
- suggest dropping ||2 to get German battleship Scharnhorst, then use ||2 with Tirpitz
- in
Nnorthern waters - succeeded in inflicting heavy damage and what weapon was used for this? gun or torpedoes?
- generally, I reckon you can go for u-boat rather than U-boat, as long as you link it at first mention
- for Lippe, link the shipwrecks list, I don't think that is too easter eggy
- Lippe was broken up the next day? that seems unlikely if she was beached, perhaps she just broke up?
- "targets with underwater with mines" not sure what you want to say here
- link the shipwrecks list for Hochheimer, Vela and UJ 1111
- I've done it for Baldur as well.
- The sentence beginning "After training for operations with X-class midget submarines..." covers a three month period. Do we know when she got back to Scotland?
- for scrap link ship breaking, if the earlier one was just breaking up
- in the table "but broken up the following day" same comment as earlier
- same comment about the source of the schematic
- Santoni isn't used, it isn't clear why it is here, but if it has anything of use, perhaps put it into a Further reading section?
- Earwig is all green, just some phrases from uboat.net
Placing on hold for the above to be addressed. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 07:49, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
- G'day L293D, this has been on hold for a month, so I'm going to fail this one unless there is some action shortly. Cheers, Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 08:15, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
