George Dixon ship

re " George Dixon was a captain of a Queen Charlotte according to his article." -- It looks likely that George Dixon's 1784 vessel was a private merchantman called Queen Charlotte not an HMS Queen Charlotte. See Canadian DNB article: [1] mervyn 13:46, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have no problem with anyone correcting the info that I added in 14:37, September 30, 2005 Cafe Nervosa (link to George Dixon, english sea captian). Cafe Nervosa | talk 17:21, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
