That's not a compatible license, because it does not allow commercial use, and it does not allow the content to be copied to other websites such as ours. "Without the written permission of the relevant copyright holder, no part of these web pages may be published in any medium or transmitted to, or stored in, any publicly accessible website..." -- Diannaa (talk) 16:06, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Does Wikipedia not fall into the category of a non-commercial educational intranet? - "2. The licence granted to you to reproduce content permits the incorporation of material from the web site, with due acknowledgement of the copyright holder and The Royal Navy Research Archive, into any non-commercial, personal research, instructional or presentational compilation for private or educational use, whether in hard copy or electronic or any other form. This includes use on an educational intranet restricted to non-commercial users." Mikeyp72 (talk) 16:26, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Our license is a CC BY-SA 4.0 License, which allows our material to be copied by anyone for any purpose, including commercial uses. So no, you can't copy it here, because everthing you add to Wikipedia needs to be freely available for re-use by anyone for any purpose, assuming the other conditions of our license are met. -- Diannaa (talk) 16:38, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
