Cruizer or Cruiser?
[edit]Some sources (e.g. Dittmar and Colledge p322 and at least two editions of the Navy List (i.e. March 1913 p418 [1] and February 1919 p1105 [2]) give the name of the ship as Cruiser, not Cruizer. Are they referring to the same ship? Should this be mentioned?Nigel Ish (talk) 16:37, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
- Cruizer and Cruiser were interchangeable (see HMS Cruizer, or indeed, HMS Cruizer) - just like realise/realize in British English today. Shem (talk) 17:34, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
- I'll add a note (i.e. Sometimes written Cruiser).Nigel Ish (talk) 17:39, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
