[edit]There appears to be a 15-year gap between the launch of this ship and its commissioning in 1913, so we can probably assume she was commissioned twice and the article is mistitled. I've fixed some of the other dates, but cannot find a reliable date for her first commission, though I assume it's 1900. Can anyone confirm this? Bastie 07:45, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
- More information is given here (though "April 31" is clearly a nonsense date). Bastie 07:49, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
- I was going to explain that I thought she was commissioned three times and the date I used was the one for when she was made a seaplane carrier, but your (rather informative) link appears to cover that in more detail than I knew! There does not appear to be much else to say about this ship without digging up some primary sources, but I might try and integrate some of that website material into the article on aircraft carriers. Cheers! Wiki-Ed 08:54, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
