I think there must be at least one ship of this name missing. In 1914 records show a group of girls were taken on a tour of 3 Royal Navy ships including HMS Canterbury. That bis a year before the launch date of the last ship listed. 87.194.10.238 (talk) 10:20, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- The ships listed are the only HMS Canterburys to have ever served in the navy. The 'HMS Canterbury' in question could have been a stone frigate (I'll try and check this), a non commissioned auxiliary, (an 'HMT' or other), or the dockyard at which the present HMS Canterbury was under construction. Any more information (dates, places, the other ships, etc) will help to clarify this. Benea (talk) 21:39, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
