An unsourced amendment was made to the article page that the information here might actually relate to an earlier vessel by this name. Because of the lack of source for that statement - but the sources available for this one - it was rolled back. Please put further comments and discussion on this page. --AlisonW 09:33, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies - I was being dyslexic, and misread "1797" as "1779", therefore thinking that a ship built in 1781 could not have taken part in the events described in the text.

No problem! mis-reading numbers is easily done and iirc when I was first adding the information - coming via the song - it took me a while to find out which was the right vessel. --AlisonW 22:21, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
