[edit]There is a thorough description of Ardent's last battle here, although the quality of English is poor. Ardent engaged Scharnhorst at least seven times with torpedo attacks, acheived one gunfire hit, and seems to have put up a good show, although it was to no avail. -Ashley Pomeroy 19:21, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
