Merge proposal
[edit]I am proposing a merge of HMAS Harman and Harman, Australian Capital Territory, becase it appears that these subejcts are one and the same: a naval base, and the suburb that the naval base makes up. Failing that, or if it can be shown that there is something to the suburb other than the base, the content of the two articles needs to be sorted out better (all the base-related content in the base article, and all the non-military content in the other. -- saberwyn 05:33, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- Support As a Canberran, I can confirm that the base and the 'suburb' are one and the same. Nick Dowling (talk) 11:17, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
- weak support - It is good to have a complete set of suburb articles, as well as the complete set of military base articles, but a redirect should cover it. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 22:12, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
- Weak Support I have to agree with the above, separate articles for the subburb and the base. Searle, L. (talk) 11:43, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose IMHO, there should be an article for the base and another for the suburb (as they are two different entities, related), adequately cross-linked and non-redundant. Regards, DPdH (talk) 15:01, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Merge completed. -- saberwyn 01:59, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
