Merge
[edit]Any clear and real concerns/objection to merging to AIDS? See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/HIV exceptionalism for the discussion concerning the issue. IMO it should probably be merged to AIDS#Society and culture. Spatulli (talk) 18:56, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- The AFD clearly demonstrated that there's sufficient coverage of this term in respected medical journals to render it notable in its own right. Participants also articulated concerns that merging to AIDS would further increase the size of an already bloated article. Peter Karlsen (talk) 17:32, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- Just because a topic meets the minimum standards for having a stand-alone article doesn't mean that the topic is best handled that way. WhatamIdoing (talk) 19:29, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
- I got to this article from the page on exceptionalism, and found it very useful as a stand-alone article. Note: I also removed the Orphan|date=February 2009 flag - since it is not applicable anymore. --Jacques de Selliers (talk) 18:16, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
