Merge with ET-1 (planet)

[edit]

There isn't very much information on either of these astronomical objects, and giving the planet a separate page merely multiplies stubs. Chaos syndrome 18:59, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I put the main info from ET-1 (planet) and put it in HD 102195. Also Chaos syndrome, Is this planet being named like TrES-1 (with a code name, not named after the star). — Hurricane Devon ( Talk ) 00:22, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The references I've found to the planet in the literature refer to it as ET-1, the Extrasolar Planets Encyclopaedia uses the designation HD 102195 b, but I haven't seen that used elsewhere, and there are other examples of inaccuracies in the designations presented there (e.g. it uses b, c and d for the planets of PSR 1257+12, instead of A, B and C), so I wouldn't take the EPE as a definitive reference for designations.
