Willemoes Class Fast Torpedo Boats
[edit]P390 was the 1st of class it was named Willemoes and after, Bredal, Bille, Hammer, Klammer, Norby et al. I was the Rolls Royce commissioning engineer at the time and I enjoyed all of the Fredikshavn dockyard engineers and Holman RDN staff that I worked with. It was a joy for two years to live in Denmark where my daughter was born and I remember it fondly. I keep some photos of Bredal which a helicopter followed us on sea trials with, one attached. Hope this is of interest.
