Confusing Grammar
[edit]There are a lot of parts where I kind of get the meaning, but the wording is very awkward. For example, "was intended for an engineer" (I'm guessing "intended to be an engineer"), "took the Lyceum Theatre" (did he steal the place, or is it an object?), and "engaged Henry Erving, presenting him first in "The Bells" are all very awkward ways of saying things. I would fix it myself, but I fear that I may be just misunderstanding the meaning. Laganojunior 23:48, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
