Updates
[edit]I've kept most of the original content of this article, but distributed throughout appropriate sections. While this is classified as a medical article, I used a mixture of primary research and literature reviews. Although medical implications of gyrification are talked about briefly, most of the content in this article is regarding mechanical processes, and roles of specific genes/ neurobiological developmental systems.
I thought a good model for this article was: Rostral migratory stream which also used a mixture of reviews and primary research.
