Content needs more about her academic career

[edit]

This is focused on activism, but she also had an influential academic career, which needs more representation. The database is for more then geneaology.--Parkwells (talk) 19:03, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Added Afro project banner

[edit]

Midlo Hall's work is all about the African diaspora.--Parkwells (talk) 22:20, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Soulbook

[edit]

The Freedom Archives has a number of digitized issues of Soulbook. Contrary to this article, I could find nothing there by Midlo Hall. They do have an article by her late husband Harry Haywood, which I cited in the Writings section of his article. If Midlo Hall does in fact have articles in Soulbook, it would be appropriate to reference them. Larry Koenigsberg (talk) 23:31, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Surname

[edit]

Looking at several interviews and articles with her, it seems Gwendolyn Midlo Hall uses just "Hall" as her surname, not "Midlo Hall".

Given this, I am going to be WP:BOLD and revise the article to favor Hall over Midlo Hall. Carter (Tcr25) (talk) 13:55, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
