Notability is questionable
[edit]I think this article is a candidate for AfD or a redirect, as his notability is questionable. Basically, he was born, served in the military, designed some non-notable buildings in Carmel (part of the Carmel walled garden) and died. He was a run-of-the-mill architect WP:MILL. The sourcing is very weak: Sourcing is very weak, consisting of a letter to his mother during the war, hyper-local coverage in the Pine Cone, a routine paid obituary (not independent), a wedding announcement, a questionable Arcadia Press "Images of America" picture book by Dramov and Momboisse, and another obit likely family-written/submitted due to its focus on his daughter. Pinging @Graywalls, @Left guide and @Melcous for their thoughts on this Carmel walled garden entry. Netherzone (talk) 20:27, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Netherzone: I agree with this source assessment, and have boldly redirected the article to the Carmel historic buildings list article where he is mentioned once. Left guide (talk) 03:59, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
