Switching to Linux

I removed the following passage from the article because it has no source and I couldn't find anything out there to corroborate it:

Kawasaki has recently switched from using Macs to using Linux, because he's disappointed in the route that Apple has taken, in relations to DRM and other issues.

If anyone has any reliable sources for this passage, feel free to re-add it with the source cited. —Cleared as filed. 23:21, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Since Guy recently gave an interview talking about his new MacBook Air, it's probably incorrect :) Ianbetteridge (talk) 06:15, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Unencyclopedic?

Can the person who finds this unencyclopedia please explain why? Though it does need a cite for the evangelism bit, that's something he gets invited to conferences to discuss, and I'm not sure why deletion would be the answer (esp. with his bibliography being as extensive as it is). thanks --76.19.16.203 20:26, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

--No, I don't find this article unencyclopedic. It's very interesting. However, it seems a bit too general. I wish there was more info about him and marketing evangelism in the article. Obviously, Guy's a very bright individual, but a lot of his success can be attributed to being in the right place at the right time.

As someone who witnessed the birth of the Mac and it's earliest days as a product, I can only say that no proper history of the Macintosh would be complete without a discussion of Guy Kawasaki's role in spreading Mac fever. He was/is a part of Mac history. Anyone who was there would tell you the same thing. Bbm 04:51, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Is the part about his daughter's buying $2000 worth of virtual goods really relevant? 149.63.60.58 (talk) 19:50, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

No, it isn't relevant. But it is verifiable, unlike the rest of the article. Also, I'm removing the "Blog" section, as his ranking is somewhere in the mid-8000 range, which isn't really worth trumpeting. Senator2029 | talk | contribs 22:48, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

I have removed a number of external links to articles on non-notable (per Wikipedia standards) webpages/blogs/forums or those that provide little significant additional information to include in an encyclopedic article. Please see WP:EL. It seems that Kawasaki gives a number of interviews, but it doesn't mean we have to include every one (or even most) of them here. Flowanda | Talk 16:36, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Honorary doctorate

His “Official” Bio states that he received an honorary doctorate from Babson College. Before adding this to the article, I've been searching for third-party sources to verify this statement. Also needed are the name of the degree and the year it was awarded. I haven't found that information yet, so am asking for help.
