James Guthrie

Sissonville A Time to Remember notes he was the son of Andrew Guthrie and Mary Robinson from Arbilot, Scotland. This is known by genealogists to be false. One census says he was from Maryland. There was an older John Guthrie who was likely his father. And some DNA suggests they come from Francis Guthrie, who was Scottish living in Ireland. Cake (talk) 04:58, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
