coi tag removal
[edit]I read the help for maintenance template removal Help:Maintenance_template_removal#Addressing_the_flagged_problem. It says, in when to remove: Quote:
"If the maintenance template is not fully supported. Some neutrality-related templates, such as

(associated with the neutral point of view policy), require the tagging editor to initiate a dialogue (generally on the article's talk page), to support the placement of the tag. If the tagging editor failed to do so, or the discussion is dormant, the template can be removed."
