In January, 1991, Tamás Darnyi swam 400m medley in the new world record time of 4:12.36. So to think that Gunnar Larsson swam the same distance in 4:12.97, as early as at the olympic games 1972 sounds highly unlikely.
According to this page, he swam the distance in the time of 4:31.98 - a much more plausible time. Can anybody sort this out? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.114.33.51 (talk) 17:16, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
