Myanmar
[edit]Hi, Berek, thanks for adding categories to the page. I notice that you have added that Gumlau is a concept in "Myanmar" to the first line. While I agree that the page should be part of the Myanmar category, I don't see the need to put Myanmar in the first line. Kachin culture, especially historical culture exists separately from the conception of the Myanmar state. There may be a great deal of overlap, but in fact the area where Kachins live extends through Myanmar, China and India. To give an western example of why I find this incongruous, it would be like a having the page for Ceilidh open with a sentance saying that the dance is in the United Kingdom or even England. I'm going to remove the word and I hope that my explanation is sufficient, I'm happy to discuss this further.Egaoblai (talk) 01:43, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
