Mistaken date
[edit]Because the given reference [1] says, "One of the most flourishing civilizations from the last half of the 5th century BC is (next to the Ariuşd Cucuteni – Tripolie complex) Gumelniţa Culture.", the sentence "... to the start of the fifth millennium BC.[1]" is nonsense. Correct - if following this dubious source anyway, is, "to the start of the fourth .." HJJHolm (talk) 07:56, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
Regrettably the citation in blockquote from Silvia Marinescu-Bîlcu does neither contain a publication date, nor is listed in the 78 publications listed in her webpage. Nevertheless, the dates exactly match those given in Blagoje Govedarica [1]
