There is an interface option when at the edit page called embedded file next to the word "advanced" and "link" that will allow you to upload pictures, orient their position, and add captions to the files. As for How The introduction is above my table of contents, you just write your introduction without a heading above it, and above your other sections' headings. Thanks for the ideas! I was having trouble finding interesting material about the sedimentary infill and stratigraphy, but there's a plethora of information about volcanism in the area so I could probably beef up that aspect of my page.
