[edit]Discussion
[edit]I was asked to review this article by user Artaxerex to see if the importance rating for this article is appropriate (currently ranked low-importance). I'm not an art expert, but I do have a background in women's and cultural studies. The movement mentioned in this article is unknown to me, and I am not familiar with the artist and have not seen her referenced widely.
I do feel the article is far too lengthy for an artist who is not widely known, particularly all the details about her father's background and the detailed history of Iran at the forefront of the article. Some context would be fine, but this is far too detailed, even for an artist who might be more widely known.
I cannot adequately comment on the priority rating without more background information; however, I'd also be inclined to give it a low importance ranking. Someone who may have heard of this movement or artist may be able to provide a rationale for a higher ranking, but I cannot.

COI edits and fluffing- esp "transpressionism"
[edit]
"Transpressionism" is not an art movement and at best is just a coined term for marketing purposes, especially if it's not even notable enough for its own wikipedia article. The only citations were from her own gallery and her own website and these have been removed since this is a BLP and these are not WP:RS.
In the archives of this talk page (see above), you can find a history of sock puppet editor accounts accused of peacocking. Jooojay (talk) 05:11, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
