I'm rather bothered by what to do with this, considering the poem itself does not exist. I suppose he's mentioned in another romance, but I cannot immediately identify it. We are not required to do anything as we are not paid by the word. The article seems reasonably satisfactory as it is. If little is known about the work then we state what is known and leave it at that. Colonel Warden (talk) 12:24, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Given the article is up for Afd, and character articles are much more vulnerable than book ones, it should be clearly about the book - it was originally written & categorized both ways.
