Test
[edit]Hey fellow field cricketiers, The above is a test; I'm still playing around with the coding and trying to work out proper referencing. Do you have any suggestions? Whiteara356 (talk) 18:26, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- This is not what a talk page is for. If you would like to test something out please use your sandbox if you do not have one you can easily make one. The talk page is only for discussion of the article not for testing. --IvanTortuga (talk) 18:58, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Automated review
[edit]- Please expand the lead to conform with guidelines at Wikipedia:Lead. The article should have an appropriate number of paragraphs as is shown on WP:LEAD, and should adequately summarize the article.[?]
- This article is a bit too short, and therefore may not be as comprehensive as WP:WIAFA critera 1(b) is looking for. Please see if anything can be expanded upon.[?]
- This article needs footnotes, preferably using inline references using citation templates
You may wish to browse through User:AndyZ/Suggestions for further ideas. §hep • Talk 04:10, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Significant Update
[edit]To anyone who is watching this page. I'm considering adding quite a bit of new text to this article and I just wanted to forewarn anyone who has contributed so far. I will do my best to retain as much of the current text as possible, but in many cases it may not be possible. The text I'm planning to add is from the unpublished first chapter of my PhD thesis on aspects of the life history and evolution of Gryllus pennsylvanicus. Stay tuned. Kevin A.
