The lead needs a lot of work. It needs to be either a long or two medium paragraphs and summarize the most important aspects of the whole article.

It is probably better to spell out "Street" instead of "St" in the prose. (fixed)
Avoid terms like "(pictured)" in the text, as Wikipedia content is often exported without the accompanying images. (fixed)
Dating is to be in the format April 12, 1843, or 12 April 1843 (no use of 'th'). (fixed)
8 acres needs to be converted into metric hectars. The format for doing this is {{convert|8|acre}}

This is about the minimum length of a lead for any article, but acceptable because of the short length of the article. Remember: most readers of a Wikipedia article only read the lead, so it is important that it has a sufficient length and is well written. Congratulations with a good article.
