I think you need to put back

"dh⁄dl is the hydraulic gradient (unitless)"

with link to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydraulic_gradient#Hydraulic_gradient

as shown from the earlier revision to make it clear about dh/dl.

I'm sorry I didn't catch this when I posted the previous comment: Isn't A the cross-sectional area of the aquifer perpendicular to the gradient? For area, the units should be ([L2]; m2), true?--QLFixBoy (talk) 17:40, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
