Rewrite
[edit]I did a bit of a rewrite on the article to make it sound less like an ad. I also removed the {{advert}} template. Any further editing would be welcome. Cameron (talk) 12:24, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Business details
[edit]I came hoping to find out something (anything) about the company that owns the web site geocaching.com . All I learned was that is'a private company and the names of three of the owners. I hope someone can add some information to this page. What's the business model? How does it make money? Is it profitable? How many employees? This sort of basic factual information would be a good way to fill out this stub. Thanks —SaxTeacher (talk) 00:36, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
Promotional content
[edit]While this article is relatively clean of promotional content, its sub articles, particularly Waymarking, are confusing, and seem to conflate historic/common practices and this businesses use of the terms. I am completely new to this company, and havent researched it yet, but it looks like they have been using WP to promote their products (which may be quite good, afaik).Mercurywoodrose (talk) 05:20, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
