Ground Parrot found in Sydney (Malabar) in 2006

[edit]

A copy of the local Leader newspaper mentioned this a couple of months ago. Today I spoke with someone who was involved with the rescue of the animal (as it was attacked by a cat). I am not sure if I still have the copy of that paper for reference, but if we can reference the info I guess this capture should be added to the article. The opening paragraphs which mention neither parrot being found in Sydney today are probably a good place to make the note. youcantryreachingme 08:04, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Status of P. w. leachi

[edit]

Need an expert to clarify whether P. w. leachi is a separate subspecies or part of P. w. wallicus. Nurg (talk) 01:59, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Photo needed

[edit]

Someone needs to take a better photo to use as identification for this bird! --Grapeman4 (talk) 09:41, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Latest thinking is it is probably not valid. Casliber (talk · contribs) 20:29, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
