Motivation for redirect to Homestar Runner
[edit]The content of this article prior to the redirect to Homestar Runner follows:
- "Grood" is a combination of the words "great" and "good." It has a similar if not identical meaning to those words. It originated from a Flash cartoon on the homestarrunner.com humor website. The cartoon was in a series called "Teen Girl Squad", which is a cartoon within a cartoon, if you will. It features Strong Bad, an animated character from the site, parodying teen girls by drawing stick figure cartoons and doing fake-sounding voice-overs. One of the characters says "grood. I mean good...and great. Great and good." Grood has since become slang amongst those familiar with the homestarrunner.com site.
