I am struggling to understand why this page is marked for speedy deletion as pure vandalism or a blatant hoax. Grissel Jaffrey was a real woman in Dundee, the last woman to be burned for witchcraft in the city and am adding her page as part of a project adding Scottish women's history to Wikipedia. This page is still a draft only and has not been published live. Further information and sources have still to be added. Victuallers: This seems to have been a rather hasty unwarranted decision by RHaworth, especially as the article was being developed in connection with an editathon. In the light of the above, I think it would be reasonable to restore the draft so that it can be enhanced by Kirsty McKeown, a capable new editor. Sadly i was on holiday and missed this debate - however I did not want it to remain abandoned so I have moved it to main space with some refs. Thx to Kirsty for starting it. As the article gives Grissel Jaffra's place of birth as Aberdeen I have moved this article from Category:People from Dundee - which as it says in the category page is "only for people actually born in Dundee" to Category:People associated with Dundee which is the category for "people with a strong association with Dundee", which she certainly fits into. On a related point however can Grissel Jaffray be described as a "Dundonian woman burned at the stake" if she was not born in Dundee. I am not sure if there is a hard and fast rule, but my own experience is that anyone in Dundee calling themselves a Dundonian would have to actually be born in Dundee. Someone who had lived in the city for a long time, but born elsewhere would usually not be classed as such. However I also know that some class Mary Slessor who lived in Dundee only from about the age of 11, but was born in Aberdeen as a Dundonian, though I would note that her wikipedia article does not make this claim. The Dundee article simply says "Natives of Dundee are called Dundonians", which leaves the issue slightly open to interpretation. I would welcome thoughts on this.
