[edit]9/7/10: The contemporary disambiguation of the word Gringo was missing from this page. Another similar racial slur, "Coolie" includes prominent definitions labeling that word for what it is primarily used for - racial slurs. Wikipedia editors have allowed that edit. Is "Gringo" (always meant as) a racial slur?
[edit]Is the term "Gringo" always meant as a racial slur? I am not sure of this, I have heard it used without that intention (though not necessarily understood as such) Hobbitschuster (talk) 00:16, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
