External links modified
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Greyhound adoption. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20070127172134/http://www.greyhoundadoptiontx.org/faq.shtml to http://www.greyhoundadoptiontx.org/faq.shtml
When you have finished reviewing my changes, you may follow the instructions on the template below to fix any issues with the URLs.

External links
Two out of the four external links are broken and need replacing with updated links or removing entirely.
This I assume is the correct site for updating the above link.
This is likely the correct page but given it appears to be just another adoption site, it could probably be culled from the list.
A third link is the start of more link farming
The site in question provides no more information than you'd find on any other adoption site.
Finally, if Greyhound Pets of America is notable enough to warrant mention in the article, perhaps an external link should be added?

- Repaired all of the dead links. I agree that the last two external links don't belong; the article isn't meant to be a repository for Greyhound adoption sites. — anndelion ※ 08:58, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
Link farming
It's starting again....
Suggested links to remove:
- Greyhound Adoption Program, South Australia, Australia
- Greyhounds as Pets NSW
- The Greyhound Adoption Program, Victoria, Australia
The above links are all to individual adoption groups (Rather than group directories or general information pages). Pokey little puppy (talk) 04:07, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
Incorrect Info
"At the age of three months, puppies receive tattoos in their ears; the left ear is the individual litter registration number, and the right ear is a code for the month, year, and order in which the animals were tattooed."
This isn't always correct anyway, as greyhounds in the UK only have the regestration number in their left ear.
"Although possessing long legs, greyhounds do not like to step or jump over objects."
Again- not always. My greyhound loves to jump over fences and bounds in the air whenever there's a cat about...
